The NYTimes is advocating 2 children per family? Wow…I feel like I’m in China after reading this. And who said we shouldn’t take advice and public policy tips from the human-rights enriched Chinese!!!!
I’m all for family planning, but this coming from the adversaries of the nuclear family?

For the first time in my 17 years of living, today, I gave the gift of life ♥. Donating blood has always been something I’ve wanted to do; although, the age requirement has consistently imposed a hindrance on my desire up until this year. I was very optimistic about giving blood. I was nervous, but nevertheless excited to share my good health with the world. I figure that as a good steward of my country, as long as like-minded people continue to donate their haleness, the government won’t be expected to fund or regulate such endeavors.
Imagine if every person donated something that they possessed in excess. Whether it be their time, money, insight, voice, service, intellect, or in this circumstance, health. Many underestimate the power of volunteering and its advantageous effect on society at large. And truthfully, the last thing we want to hear is:
“The nine most terrifying words in the English language are: ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help.’”
Every little bit counts, and I feel unusually humane
