I’ll miss you, GDub!

In the most bittersweet speech of his presidency, I have to say I will miss the great president who has protected this country unwaveringly for the past 7 years.  As the days approach and Dubya leaves office, I feel a tug on my heart that the comfort and safety that I once felt, and often rested unnoticeable on my spirit will soon disappear.  God Bless you, President Bush.  Our country is eternally indebted to you for sacrificing your name for the good and protection of this great nation.

The Beauteous Cindy McCain!

Cindy McCain is just stunning, and that is plain fact.

  But now she’s really putting things into perspective.

As a concerned mother of a soldier fighting oversees she wants other military families to be aware of Barack Obama’s record on NOT funding the troops and his incessant caterwauling to surrender.

I will be so honored when she is our First Lady.

Oil Shortages? That’s blasphemy!

My dear friend Wendy, who works in the newspaper industry graciously sent me this and I thought it was blog-worthy material ! 

A lot of folks can’t understand how we came to have an oil shortage here in our country.
Well, there’s a very simple answer.
Nobody bothered to check the oil.
We just didn’t know we were getting low.
The reason for that is purely geographical.
Our OIL is located in :
Alaska
California
Coastal Florida
Coastal Louisiana
Wyoming
Utah
Kansas
Oklahoma
Pennsylvania
Texas
And, our dipsticks are located in DC
